2009 was a special year for Forcefield Mouthguards.
It was the year when we opened shop in the USA, after more than 5 years of proved success working in Brazil.
People said we were crazy to invest during times of economic difficulties.
But we believed...
We knew that Americans were tired of those boil-and-bite guards that can look good but offer no protection, no perfect fit, no personalization and the moment they tried Forcefield they would realize how great that was.
We knew that Americans wanted a custom made mouthguard that offered the best quality at the best possible price.
We knew that Americans wanted a brand that was really tested in the most difficult fields, octagons and games by real top athletes, not paid advertisement ...
We knew that Americans wanted a wonderful shopping experience, with clear and transparent information, from the thickness of each product line to sports recommendation, and most important, no hidden or extra fees.
We knew that Americans wanted a mouthguard made in the USA, by people who love what they do and do what they love and above all, by people who only do mouthguards.
We knew that Americans wanted the truth and wanted to see pictures of the top names wearing their brand of choice in the mouthguards industry: Forcefield.
We knew that Americans would prefer to have the option to choose what they wanted, not have somebody else say what they had to do.
We knew that Americans would love a top customer care, from the moment they click "purchase" to the moment they wanted to discuss design ideas with the people responsible to make their unique mouthguards, with no intermediaries and of course, with on-time delivery.
And after all, we knew that, Americans, Brazilians, Canadians: it does not matter where one was born, but when one loves the game, one wants to have the best gear and competes to win.
Special thanks to many top names that believed with us that 2009 was only the beginning: Thiago Silva, Gabriel Gonzaga "Napão", Luiz Cane "Banha", Ricardo Funch, Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Jorge Patino Macaco, Thiago Carfi, Ulpiano Malaquias "Piano", Bruno "Mamute" Paulista, André Monteiro, Rafael "Sapo", Plinio Cruz, Vinicius Agudo, Sucuri Togno, Marco Alvan, Ediane India, Vanessa Porto, Flavio Alvaro, Aldo Oreggia, and many many others...and the teams of the following gyms: Macaco Gold Team Fighters USA, Team Link, Gracie Barra Santa Ana, Throwdown North, Alliance BJJ Charlotte, Renzo Gracie NY, Renzo Gracie NJ, FLEX...and the hundreds of customers that gave us a chance to show our work.
Happy Holidays !!!!
We will be back in January 4, 2010.
